Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at The Hoxton, Poblenou. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are always clean and well-maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Oversee the cleaning and servicing of all guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that they are always clean and well-maintained.
  • Work closely with the head housekeeper and assistant head housekeeper to develop and implement effective cleaning and maintenance procedures.
  • Train and support housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of cleaning and maintenance services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with a year or more of experience as a supervisor.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with additional languages a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Experience with Micros Fidelio Opera or similar front desk operating system an advantage.
