Assistant Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the overall operation of the housekeeping department, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and activities.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to develop and implement effective strategies for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage and control departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with front office, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, addressing concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Lead and motivate housekeeping staff, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to enhance performance and job satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
  • Previous experience with pre-opening hotel operations is highly desirable.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
