Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily operations and department management.
  • Manage budget and financial reports for the housekeeping department.
  • Ensure adherence to service standards and sequences of service.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping partners and other departments.
  • Maintain guest satisfaction by addressing issues and providing prompt correspondence.
  • Manage inventory levels and costs for supplies.
  • Plan, assign work, and establish performance goals for employees.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to employees.
  • Inspect public areas, guest rooms, and equipment to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Supervise laundry operations and assist with deep cleaning projects.
  • Support guest requests and complaints.
  • Ensure staff is properly trained and equipped.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in an upscale hotel.
  • Previous experience with pre-opening is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
