Overview

Fairmont La Hacienda, a luxurious 5-star resort in southern Spain, is seeking a highly skilled Luxury Resort Front Desk Manager to oversee the front office operations and lead the team towards excellence in service delivery.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned supervisor to join our team and make a significant impact on our guests' journey. As a Luxury Resort Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, maintaining high standards of service quality, and leading a team of professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily quality checks to ensure alignment with our standards and provide feedback to the team.
  • Assist VIP guests with their check-in and check-out procedures or supervise receptionists as needed.
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere and healthy working relationships within the team, leading by example and addressing conflicts promptly.
  • Anticipate and meet guest needs, ensuring all colleagues feel accountable for the guest's journey.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our hotel products and services, including room amenities and outlet offers.
  • Promote guest loyalty programs and ensure the team is trained on their benefits and promotions.
  • Supervise front office operations, including reception, guest relations, concierge, and bell service, in the absence of the direct manager or manager on duty.
  • Conduct regular training sessions, handovers, and daily operations meetings with the front office team.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, a dynamic can-do attitude, and analytical skills with attention to detail. Previous reception supervisor experience is highly preferred, along with experience with Opera PMS and Office software.
