Job Description Summary:

The Commercial Director for Europe will lead the commercial strategy and operations for the Europe region, partnering with GE Hitachi Nuclear sales, commercial operations, and product teams to drive business growth and profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of sales account management, contract terms, and commercial judgment to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement commercial strategies to increase order volume and profitability in the Europe region.
  2. Lead a sales team to identify opportunities that drive volume growth in all segments of the business function.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize market penetration and leverage cross-functional and cross-business resources.
  4. Identify new market opportunities and cross-sell GE products.
  5. Maintain SalesForce with up-to-date information for current opportunities and pipeline activities.
  6. Drive Lean in account sales management across the region/country.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  2. 10 years nuclear experience in a Sales or Marketing position.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of sales account management and contract terms.
  4. Ability and willingness to travel to customer facilities up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Prior Nuclear or Energy industry sales, services or marketing experience.
  2. Masters' degree in Business Administration.
  3. Knowledge of GEH product line and services.
  4. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, experience in Lean and developing standard work.
