This expansion is reflected in a steady increase in household penetration. We are currently seeking a highly skilled KAM Assistant to support our sales team in Spain & Portugal.

Job Description

The successful candidate will serve as the primary contact for assigned key accounts, providing essential support to the key account team in handling day-to-day business. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager Retail, this individual will be responsible for:

  • Supporting assigned channels, including Retail Spain & Portugal and Away from home KAM.
  • Coordinating with commercial, pricing, and logistics partners, as well as HQ Madrid and HQ Belgium.
  • Maintaining customer master data, prices, and conditions within SAP.
  • Processing orders and coordinating logistics in collaboration with the key account management and logistics department.
  • Providing relevant sales reports and special analyses.
  • Assisting the KAM and Sales Manager team with administrative tasks.
  • SUPPORTING IN THE PREPARATION OF CUSTOMER APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS, AS WELL AS MAINTENANCE, TRACKING, AND EVALUATION OF PROMOTIONAL AGREEMENTS.
  • Managing rebates, spending, and accruals for clients.
  • Independently maintaining, billing, and documenting condition agreements, including responsibility for customer-specific invoice control and tracking open orders.
  • Customer-specific complaint management.
  • Fostering strong relationships with back-office teams at national and regional levels.
  • Collaborating with Customer Service to ensure excellence in pricing, orders, and rebates issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree or equivalent, preferably with an admin or commercial focus.
  • No less than 5 years of experience in admin and commercial roles.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
  • Excellent English skills (B2 minimum) and C2 Spanish language proficiency.
  • Valuable Portuguese language skills.
  • Experience in the FMCG/Retail sector.
  • Strong commercial understanding and ability to think and act as a partner for sales teams.
  • Organizational skills, commitment, and a hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of working in a team environment.

Salary

This position offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around €45,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, considering the location and the job requirements.
