Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and HR Manager to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing exceptional HR services to our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Management: Manage the monthly and annual payroll processes, including processing payroll, managing payroll partners, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- HR Support: Provide subject matter expertise to property managers on all HR matters, including employee relations, benefits, and compensation.
- Leadership: Lead a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the success of the team.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement strategies, including new hire orientation, employee recognition, and communication programs.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Marriott International policies and procedures.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area. OR Qualification in Relaciones Laborales and/or nómina (payroll).
- Relevant Experience: Relevant experience in payroll and/or finance, ideally in a hotel environment.
