Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Process payrolls for various clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and maintaining the payroll system.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory changes and requirements, contributing to the improvement of internal systems and processes, and mitigating potential risks to clients.
- Financial Performance: Contribute to the financial performance of the company by building and maintaining client relationships, providing a pleasing customer experience through efficient and effective service delivery.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, treating them with respect and professionalism, and providing solutions to their payroll-related needs.
- 2-5 years of payroll experience or experience as an HRIS practitioner with payroll systems experience (Sage300 and/or Premier).
- Diploma/degree in commerce/human resources or any related qualification/experience.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of SA payroll tax legislation.
- Basic knowledge of SA labour legislation.
- Ability to work independently, taking ownership, and working under pressure.
- Experience in a payroll outsourcing environment.
- Knowledge of other African countries' payroll tax legislation.
