Job Summary

As a highly skilled Account Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving strategy to identify and engage with key accounts that present new business opportunities or require ongoing nurturing. Your primary objective will be to develop and execute a multi-channel approach, including telephone sales activity, to consistently deliver on the Company's strategy of managing active and prospective accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex account and industry activity to develop plans for a portfolio of accounts, driving engagement and growth.
• Initiate and manage effective relationships with active and prospect clients, prioritizing accounts, engagement pathways, and ongoing nurturing objectives.
• Maintain meaningful relationships with developed leads, participating in the development and implementation of engagement and targeted activity planning.
• Deliver the Company's messaging on differentiators, effectively communicating this to clients and advancing sales and engagement discussions through a thorough understanding of client challenges and alignment to Company strengths.
• Document and monitor progress in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, including lead generation details, tracking contacts, and pertinent follow-up information.

Requirements

• BA / BS degree in a biological science, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of Inside Sales experience, Lead Generation, Customer Relationship development and management, predominantly via phone.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential (German is a plus).
• May have working knowledge of clinical development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and voicemail.
• CRM skills in managing a customer relationship database beneficial.
• Effective written interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to conduct research using various online resources.
• Sales disposition and inquisitive problem-solving skills relating to diligently qualifying and researching clients.
• Above average attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate persistence and achievement in hitting targets.
