About the Role

This role involves executing brand and trade cycle plan activities with excellence in execution to drive sales growth, IMS volume, and brand activations in retail outlets. The successful candidate will establish close engagement with retailers and staff to gain trade support and loyalty for BAT brands. As a Trade Marketing representative, you will be the face of the company and must be able to transmit BAT values and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Trade and Brand Marketing activities and programs within the territory according to the cycle plan activities requirement of excellence in execution.
  • Ensure the right BAT portfolio distribution and optimum stocks management on each outlet to contribute to sales growth for BAT brands.
  • Manage information with accuracy and ownership while maintaining an updated database of outlets (driven by Petra System or California).
  • Execute the Trade Coverage Plan (TCP) and ensure agreed coverage and call frequency for the itinerary aligned with the cycle plan activities and guidelines of the Areas Sales Manager.
  • Identify opportunities and create plans for all sales channels in the area.
  • Engage with key business partners to gain high levels of trade support and loyalty while enhancing understanding of the trading environment.
  • Notify competitors' activations or NPI in the market, size these actions, and recommend action plans.
  • Be cost-conscious and complete internal reports for gas spent, parking tickets, stock in the vehicle, etc., according to BAT procedure.
  • Keep updated all information records required in the Company's information systems, in quality, time, and form.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Around 1/2 years experience in trade marketing/sales department and in FMCG.
  • Functional knowledge & skills.

  • Cross-market knowledge.
  • Moderate-high Microsoft Office package (Windows).
