District Sales Manager

About the Role
This position is based in our Madrid, Spain location within the Diabetes division at Abbott.
We're dedicated to helping people with diabetes manage their health with innovative products that provide accurate data for informed decisions.
As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing relationships.
- Driving sales growth in a specific area while adhering to our company's ethical code and values.
- Coaching and mentoring staff to achieve excellence and support their professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities comply with quality system requirements.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, including territory sales plans and market analysis.
- Coach the team through field visits and support sales representatives in maintaining customer relationships.
- Keep the customer segmentation and targeting file up-to-date.
- Facilitate collaboration between teams and departments.
- Act as a communication channel to ensure company strategy and instructions are understood by the team.
- Maintain good customer relationships and visit key customers regularly.
- Initiate and lead sales force meetings.
- Have full people management responsibility for district sales staff.
Requirements
- University Degree in Science or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of diabetes and its treatment.
- Leadership and coaching skills.
- Good PC knowledge and proficiency in written and oral English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the ADC market and products.
- Familiarity with ADC procedures and policies.
