The Opportunity
This position works out of our Madrid (Spain) location in the Diabetes division. We're focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the generation of new ADC business, as well as for the maintenance of existing business, growing the sales in a particular area of the country, following strictly, throughout moment, the code ethical in force and under the company values. You will manage the people under your responsibility as a coach in an ethical way with the objective of working towards excellence and supervising and mentoring staff, proactively supporting their professional development.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
• Sales planning and follow up (establishes yearly territory sales plans (Territory Action Plan), implements sales strategies).
• Coach the people under their responsibility doing dual visits in the field according to the instructions given by the company.
• Support the sales representatives in maintaining and expanding customers, collect information on competitors' sales, prices, benefits, and products, implementing market strategies.
• Responsible for keeping updated the segmentation and targeting customer file of the district.
• Empower and favor their work and that of their team with other departments of the company.
What You'll Do
As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in a specific territory, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues. You will work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, develop sales plans, and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring sales representatives to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

• Proven sales experience in a similar industry or role.
• Strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
