At Meritt, we're partnering with Rated People to find an experienced Customer Success Specialist. This role is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in sales.
About the RoleWe're looking for a highly motivated individual who will be the first point of contact for homeowners seeking trusted tradespeople. As a Customer Success Specialist, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring every homeowner gets the help they need. We provide exceptional sales training, equipping you with the skills needed to qualify leads, deliver excellent customer service, and drive sales success.
Main Responsibilities- Be the main point of contact for homeowners, handling their jobs or leads efficiently and effectively.
- Qualify leads by asking key questions to understand homeowner needs and job requirements.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, building rapport and trust with homeowners.
- Gather and share insights with the product and commercial teams to improve our platform.
- Keep homeowner lead information accurate and up-to-date on our platform.
No prior experience is necessary – we're looking for entry-level candidates with a strong desire to learn, succeed, and grow in sales. Key qualifications include:
- Curiosity: A natural eagerness to learn, ask questions, and understand customers' needs deeply.
- Coachability: A willingness to accept feedback and continuously improve.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for connecting with homeowners, asking the right questions, and conveying value clearly.
- Grit: Sales can be challenging, so resilience and determination are vital for success.
