Job Title: Associate Operations

C.H. Robinson is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Operations professional to join our European Surface Transportation division in Barcelona.

In this key role, you will perform a variety of operational tasks that enable C.H. Robinson to meet the transportation needs of customers and carriers. With a focus on data integrity, quality, and efficiency, you will execute tasks such as providing shipment information, creating orders, activating shipments, building loads, assigning loads, scheduling appointments, tracking and tracing shipments, entering events, and invoicing.

You will also be responsible for monitoring task boards and assigned email accounts to respond to customer and carrier requests, documenting events utilizing knowledge gained through SOPs and experience, and following defined escalation procedures and training.

Additionally, you will validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems according to CHR and customer standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous customer service or sales experience
  • Fluent communication in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends (select roles only)

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Previous customer service experience in a call center or similar environment
  • Demonstrated communication, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Prior work experience that required attention to detail and accuracy
