Operations Associate

C.H. Robinson is seeking an experienced Operations Associate to join our European Surface Transportation division in Barcelona.
This key position involves performing basic operational tasks that enable C.H. Robinson to meet the transportation needs of customers and carriers. With a focus on data integrity, quality, and efficiency, you will execute tasks such as providing shipment information, creating orders, activating shipments, building loads, assigning loads, scheduling appointments, tracking and tracing shipments, entering events, and invoicing.
Responsibilities include monitoring task boards and assigned email accounts to respond to customer and carrier requests, documenting events utilizing knowledge gained through SOPs and experience, and following defined escalation procedures and training.
You will also be responsible for validating and ensuring the accuracy of load data in systems according to CHR and customer standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous customer service or sales experience
- Fluent communication in both English and Spanish
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends (select roles only)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Previous customer service experience in a call center or similar environment
- Demonstrated communication, prioritization, and time management skills
- Prior work experience that required attention to detail and accuracy
