Key Responsibilities:
- Originate New Business Opportunities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector, including greenfield, acquisition, or co-development projects.
- Project Development: Manage the development of assigned projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Joint Development Agreements: Negotiate and manage Joint Development Agreements with wind and solar developers, ensuring project risks are managed, budgeting is carried out appropriately, and economic buildable projects achieve consent at the earliest opportunity.
- Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety standards are maintained, and adhere to the group's HSSE policy requirements, including the management of external consultants.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in renewable energy development, mainly in Spain.
- Commercial and Regulatory Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the commercial, environmental, and regulatory challenges facing all stages of wind and solar project development and the renewable energy industry.
- Communication and Team Management: Confident communication skills to a range of audiences, comfortable managing a team of external professionals, and strong people coordination skills.
- Language: Fluent in English.
