Job Summary

At Vets Hired, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in technical support, with the ability to supervise and lead activities of IT staff.

About the Role
This role involves ensuring proper computer operations for end users to accomplish business tasks, resolving escalated help requests within established procedures, and providing support through coordinating computer moves, add-ons, changes, software upgrades, and configuration enhancements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining equipment inventory, creating and maintaining technical documentation, contributing to the development and maintenance of IT procedures, and communicating potential or real customer satisfaction issues to managers and IT team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure proper computer operations for end users to accomplish business tasks
- Resolve escalated help requests within established procedures
- Provide support through coordinating computer moves, add-ons, changes, software upgrades, and configuration enhancements
- Maintain equipment inventory
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT procedures
- Communicate potential or real customer satisfaction issues to managers and IT team members

Requirements
- Education: High School diploma/GED
- Experience: 4 years of related experience in modern desktop and server operating systems, industry-specific computer software including application support experience with Microsoft Office 365 and mainstream web browsers
- Industry-related certifications preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
