Civir is seeking an experienced Platform Support Engineer to join our team. This critical role requires a skilled professional with a strong background in Rabbit MQ administration and expertise in distributed, highly available environments.
About the RoleThis position involves delivering 24x7 incident response and resolution, with regular on-call shifts. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the team to diagnose complex issues, develop effective solutions, and ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert-level support for Rabbit MQ, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in distributed environments, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and improve overall system reliability.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 1+ years of experience with Rabbit MQ, with a strong understanding of its configuration and operation.
- At least 5+ years of experience as an IBM MQ Administrator, with a proven track record of managing complex systems.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Ansible, Python), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git), and monitoring technologies (e.g., Dynatrace).
- Knowledge of containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and web servers (e.g., Tomcat, WebLogic).
