At SoftwareOne, we're redefining how organizations build, buy, and manage cloud solutions. As a Presales Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in helping our clients migrate and modernize their workloads and applications, while navigating the changing landscape of software and cloud.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with our sales team and clients to assess requirements, objectives, and constraints, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Utilize your analytical skills to scope and size opportunities effectively, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational capabilities.
- Design customized solutions that meet client needs, leveraging your expertise and knowledge of our service offerings.
- Define margins for proposed solutions in coordination with the sales and delivery teams, ensuring profitability while meeting client expectations.
- Draft clear and comprehensive statements of work (SOWs) that outline project deliverables, timelines, and terms of engagement.
- Establish and maintain a repository of solution collaterals, including case studies, white papers, presentations, and other relevant materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and enhance our solution offerings.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from initial discovery to solution design and proposal development.
- University degree preferred (in the field of Information Technology and/or equivalent combination of experience and education).
- 2+ years or equivalent experience as presales consultant.
- Licensing knowledge in at least two of the following vendors: Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, Vmware, Red Hat or other Tier 1 vendor.
- IT Assets Management Tools knowledge in at least one of the following: Flexera, Snow, Service Now.
- High knowledge in IT procurement and process management.
- Basic knowledge of the Digital Supply Chain.
- Basic knowledge of the FinOps framework.
- Flexible Timing, Hybrid model & reduced days on Summer.
