Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact new customers and utilize sales skills to secure sales agreements.
- Develop and implement effective prospect identification, qualification, and management systems.
- Sell and close new shippers, building a strong book of business.
- Collaborate with transportation brokers to maximize load volume from new customers through regular sales meetings and strategy sessions.
- Adhere to company standards and principles, prioritizing customer satisfaction and company growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of non-asset based 3pl sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proven experience in dry van, reefer, flatbed, and/or LTL freight sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving and self-motivation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer and technology applications.
- Willingness to travel for sales purposes.
Compensation
The salary for this position is $60,000-$100,000, depending on experience.
