What We Offer

As a National Sales Manager at Allen Lund Company, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented sales force within a branch office. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting new customers to secure sales and build a book of business
  • Developing systems and processes for effective prospect identification, qualification, and management
  • Selling and closing new shippers
  • Working with transportation brokers to maximize volume from new customers through ongoing sales meetings and strategy sessions
  • Upholding the company standard following the company principles of Customer, Company, Office

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years of minimum non-asset based 3PL sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in dry van, reefer, flatbed, and/or LTL freight
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to work as a team player
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Computer and technology literacy
  • Ability to travel as needed for sales
