What We Offer
As a National Sales Manager at Allen Lund Company, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented sales force within a branch office. Your responsibilities will include:
- Contacting new customers to secure sales and build a book of business
- Developing systems and processes for effective prospect identification, qualification, and management
- Selling and closing new shippers
- Working with transportation brokers to maximize volume from new customers through ongoing sales meetings and strategy sessions
- Upholding the company standard following the company principles of Customer, Company, Office
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 years of minimum non-asset based 3PL sales experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience in dry van, reefer, flatbed, and/or LTL freight
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Self-motivation and a willingness to work as a team player
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Computer and technology literacy
- Ability to travel as needed for sales
