About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Training Specialist to join our team at ABB. As a Technical Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering technical training courses for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to create engaging and effective training materials, as well as deliver hands-on and online trainings regarding AMRs and the associated new software suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training courses for customers, either in classroom or on-site
• Ensure that training delivery is properly organized, resourced, and safely implemented
• Collaborate with technical Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, Sales, and other stakeholder groups to support training course development and delivery
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback from trainees and implement corrective action when needed
• Exceed customer expectations by understanding and anticipating current and potential needs

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in industry in programming and commissioning tasks providing formal or informal training
• Strong pedagogical abilities and proven experience in managing diverse student groups to effectively and simply convey technical knowledge
• Fluency in Spanish and English is a must, with other European languages highly valued
• Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs
• Experience in industrial project implementation, ideally in automation technology, robotics, mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering
• Software background is required, with basic programming skills
• Good understanding of software engineering together with technical concepts, with a proven ability to translate this into concise, easy to follow documentation
• Good presentation and public speaking skills, with confidence in presenting in front of a group of people and online
