About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Specialist to join our team at ABB Schweiz AG. As a Technical Training Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering technical training courses for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Course Development: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to create high-quality technical training courses that meet the needs of our customers.
  2. Training Delivery: Deliver hands-on and online trainings on AMRs and the associated new software suite to customers.
  3. Training Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training courses and implement corrective actions as needed.
  4. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in our trainings.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in the industry in programming and commissioning tasks providing formal or informal training.
  • Strong pedagogical abilities and proven experience in managing diverse student groups to effectively convey technical knowledge.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is a must. Other European languages are highly valued.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
  • Experience in industrial project implementation, ideally in automation technology, robotics, mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
  • Software background is required along with basic programming skills.
  • Good understanding of software engineering together with technical concepts with a proven ability to translate this into concise, easy-to-follow documentation.
  • Good presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Having previous knowledge of AMRs/AGVs will be well appreciated.
