The Opportunity

Roche Diagnostics Spain is seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team in Comunidad Valenciana, Murcia y Baleares areas. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and strengthening Roche's presence and reputation in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the availability of Roche's innovative solutions and solidify our market-leading position.
  • Interact with stakeholders in the scientific/technical/economic area and customer key decision makers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Manage sales for the entire Roche Diagnostics portfolio to offer customers the best solutions for their needs.
  • Develop account strategies and execute against strategic and tactical business plans for assigned accounts.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with customers and handle their needs in a compliant manner.
  • Provide leadership, insights, and guidance to team members to enable them to support the delivery of a stellar customer experience and profitable sales growth.
  • Constantly gather data on market trends, monitor competitors, and analyze business risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience in the healthcare market with proven success results.
  • Desirable at least 3 years of experience in sales/business development in the IVD Diagnostics industry.
  • Previous experience leading or coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Customer orientation, strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High negotiation capacity at all levels of key stakeholders within a hospital.
  • Demonstrated comfort building and maintaining relationships with senior-level buying influences.
  • Experience with engaging with new teams and fostering environments of accountability.
  • Persistence and perseverance to achieve desirable business outcomes.
  • Strong desire to learn new products and business areas.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt well in new environments.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Business or Healthcare or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Availability to travel, inside and outside the country.
