Talent Search People is dedicated to the Retail sector with headquarters in Madrid and London. As a General HR Manager, you will support both the Spanish subsidiary and other European entities/businesses.

Job Summary

As a strategic HR leader, you will develop and maintain strong partnerships with the team, ensuring that HR strategies, processes, and practices are implemented.

You will provide deliberate and forward-thinking guidance and feedback to all levels of employees, addressing various employee-related issues and business needs.

The ideal candidate will ensure company compliance with all existing government and labor requirements and collaborate in the preparation of documentation required for compliance with Spanish laws.

You will lead employee relations functions, including organizing and executing investigations into policy and legal violations, as well as handling general complaints or concerns.

In addition, you will collaborate in the processing of workers' compensation claims, licenses, and good administration of benefits.

You will develop and facilitate talent development materials and initiatives.

A successful candidate will have a proactive approach to enabling robust HR and partnership consulting and decision-making advice.

Furthermore, you will demonstrate thought leadership and proper judgment when making business decisions related to human resources.

You will work closely with operational managers to ensure recruiting activity results in optimal staffing levels in all stores for operational success.

To be considered for this role, you must possess commercial and highly results-oriented skills, strategic planning and awareness, experience of leading and managing teams, exceptional interpersonal, team management, and communication skills, and a strong culture and change management background.

The ideal candidate will also have a pragmatic, flexible, and resilient style, fluency in Spanish and English, and relevant professional degree/postgraduate accreditation in Human Resources.

A proven track record of working in a start-up/hyper growth environment, similar experience in a similar role (minimum 5 years), current knowledge of Spanish employment and related laws, and excellent understanding of retail/fashion markets are essential.

We offer a competitive salary (£60,000 - £80,000 per year) depending on experience, stable position with an indefinite contract, full-time employment, option of restaurant and childcare check in flexible remuneration, opportunity to continue developing as a professional, social benefits such as sports and study aid, and a pension plan.
