About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling cutting-edge payment solutions in a high-growth and competitive environment. You will handle multiple sales cycles, ensuring a high conversion rate and outperforming sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and grow a healthy pipeline of promising merchants and prospects across various verticals.
- Sell our new cross-border payment solutions and services to e-commerce merchants through outbound and inbound techniques.
- Help new merchants evaluate our payment capabilities and handle detailed questions about our product features, serving as a consultant and industry expert.
- Prepare thorough presentations and proposals for prospective merchants.
- Orchestrate the entire sales process and act as the main point of contact for merchants and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with other sales team members to share best practices, key business insights, and industry trends.
- Provide feedback on local trends, including competitor insights, customer needs, sales, product, and marketing information.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years of payments experience.
- Solid network of potential prospects and partners.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.
- Tech-savvy, with a passion for technology.
- Solid business acumen and awareness of financial factors.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation skills, and techniques.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, any additional language appreciated.
