Role Overview
At Hitachi Energy Spain, we are committed to advancing a sustainable energy future for all. As an EPC Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving strategic alignment with key EPCs across Europe and managing their international business opportunities. Located in Spain, you will develop and implement account strategies focused on growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Collaborating with Sales Colleagues across Hitachi Energy, you will build customer relationships and deliver a varied opportunity pipeline to fulfill business goals. This role offers a stimulating mix of activities, requiring an experienced Sales Professional with the ability to build strong long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop specific account strategies for the Grid Automation business with nominated accounts to position Hitachi Energy as the partner of choice and drive profitable growth.
Drive alignment with business goals and feed into the overall account strategy for Hitachi Energy.
Create added value for customers and Hitachi Energy by ensuring a coordinated sales proposition across business units.
Maintain detailed records of opportunities for nominated accounts and visibility of business levels in the current and future years.
Set and deliver sales targets for accounts and support & coordinate with local sales teams to secure local business.
Secure export orders where nominated accounts are working on international opportunities.
Keep up-to-date knowledge of growth plans, target markets, and ambitions for each account & develop and implement the account plan to grow existing markets.
Actively involve in the development of the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, coordination of communications for accounts across Europe, sharing best practices, and driving standardization on Hitachi Energy solutions.
Coordinate sales & tendering activities and manage interfaces with operations teams.
Develop & maintain detailed knowledge of the customer's business strategy, purchasing behavior, organization, decision-makers, and business drivers.
Requirements
At least 5+ years' experience selling Automation Solutions to EPC contractors.
Experience of managing international sales opportunities for engineered solutions.
Strong knowledge of markets for Automation Solutions for Electrical Networks and Grid Edge Solutions.
Experience in coordinating international bid teams to develop innovative tenders.
Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
