About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our Confluent Sales Team as an Account Executive, Startups. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth in diverse territories by proactively identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing sales pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire sales process, collaborating with business development, customer success, and support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Develop and present value propositions to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with customer contacts to manage relationships, identify new opportunities, and maximize sales.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 3+ years of field experience in a quota-carrying role focused on landing net-new logos.
  • Prior experience in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions.
  • A consistent track record of success, with a history of overachieving and hitting quota attainment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
