We are seeking a highly skilled Front Office Agent to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless stay from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests in a warm and courteous manner, providing them with accurate information about hotel amenities and services.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and empathetic manner, aiming for swift and satisfactory resolution.
- Ensure the accuracy of guest billing, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the local area, providing guests with information about attractions, restaurants, and services.
- Stay one step ahead of guests' needs, record and act on their preferences, and handle their messages, requests, and concerns.
- Ensure all guests are quoted the correct rate as per the selling strategy and website.
- Report any issues to the correct department and verify that the work has been completed.
- Maintain the reception and public areas in a clean, tidy, and presentable state at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Front Office experience in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
- Previous experience with pre-opening of a hotel is a significant advantage.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, and empathetic team player with a high level of attention to detail and passion for hospitality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
