Client Relationship Manager

This is a unique opportunity to join American Express, a leading global financial services company, as a Client Relationship Manager. As a key member of the EMEA Merchant Acquisition Sales organization, you will play a critical role in acquiring and managing relationships with merchants across European markets.
Main Responsibilities- Revenue Growth and Retention: Drive revenue growth by retaining and expanding charge volumes and revenues, while maintaining and growing active locations.
- Merchant Satisfaction: Improve merchant satisfaction through annual surveys and ensure compliance and control.
- Account Management: Retain and grow accounts, bringing value to merchants through commercial speech and American Express specific tools.
- Team Support and Best Practices: Share best practices and provide support to the team to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Language Skills: Native French speaker with in-depth knowledge of the country and market landscape, and fluent in English.
- Experience: Extensive experience in account management roles, ideally over the telephone, with demonstrated negotiation skills and excellent objection handling.
- Business Acumen: High level of business awareness and financial acumen, including ability to understand key financial drivers and draw accurate conclusions from them.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, able to set priorities to achieve goals.
- Accountability and Ownership: High level of determination and self-confidence, ability to work in groups and contribute to the team's success.
