Arrow Iberia Electronica Slu is seeking a highly skilled Market Development Engineer to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a talented professional to specialize in key market segments and technologies of our business, as assigned within the dedicated Vertical. As a Market Development Engineer, you will determine, develop, scale, and lead the implementation of successful, comprehensive solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within the associated markets or business segments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct business strategy activities to include total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
- Collaborate with the BU on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support the assigned market.
- Work with supplier, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
- Create, gain approvals for, and execute (upon approval) comprehensive products and service offers.
- Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for use in business development.
- Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
- Build and manage influential relationships with key suppliers.
- Experience in electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing or Product management - must have.
- Experience in IP&E - must have.
- Experience in engineering and business strategy market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis) - must have.
- Strong sales skills.
- Full driving license and readiness for business travel - must have.
- English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken.
- Spanish language skills (native or C1).
- Expertise in engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
- Track record in delivering results in market/segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in business-to-business industry.
- Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
- Demonstration of project/team leadership and collaboration skills.
