Market Development Engineer

Arrow Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Market Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IPE (Interconnect, Passive Electromechanical components) business unit, you will play a critical role in driving market growth and sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive solution programs to accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within assigned markets or business segments.
- Specialize in key market segments and technologies, owning the go-to-market strategy plan for assigned markets/business segments.
- Conduct business strategy activities, including total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
- Collaborate with the BU on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support assigned markets.
- Work with suppliers, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
- Create, gain approvals for, and execute comprehensive products and service offers.
- Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for use in business development.
- Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within assigned markets.
- Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs aimed to drive increased market share and visibility for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
- Build and manage influential relationships with key suppliers.
- Experience in electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or Product management.
- Experience in IPE - must have.
- Experience in engineering and business strategy - market customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis) - must have.
- Strong sales skills.
- Full driving license and readiness for business travel.
- English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken.
- Spanish language skills (native or C1).
- Expertise in engaging executive-level stakeholders.
- Track record in delivering results in market/segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in the business-to-business industry.
- Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
- Demonstration of project/team leadership and collaboration skills.
