Market Development Engineer IP&E Job Description

Arrow Electronics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Market Development Engineer IP&E to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving market growth and development in the IP&E segment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive market development strategies to drive sales growth and market share in the IP&E segment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and sales, to identify market opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure access to the latest technologies and products.
  • Work with the business unit to develop and execute product roadmaps, new product development, and product management activities to support the IP&E segment.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs to drive increased market share and visibility for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
  • Build and manage influential relationships with key suppliers and partners.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or Product management.
  • Experience in IP&E and engineering and business strategy - market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis).
  • Strong sales skills.
  • Full driving license and readiness for business travel.
  • English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken.
  • Spanish language skills (native or C1).
  • Expertise in engaging to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Track record in delivering results in market / segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in business-to-business industry.
  • Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
  • Demonstration of project / team leadership, and collaboration skills.
