Job Summary

The Senior Client Solutions Associate role is a key position within our Life Sciences team, part of our EMEA Corporate Markets team based in London. We have a prestigious client base at leading Life Sciences corporations in the EMEA region, including top pharmaceuticals and healthcare technology companies.

This role involves delivering projects to clients, building relationships with council members, and working with senior colleagues to maximize GLG's growth and impact. At GLG, you'll have opportunities to progress quickly and work in a collaborative environment.

This role is based in our London office and operates under GLG's hybrid working policy. You'll be expected to work from the office 8 times a month. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the workflow by recruiting new senior industry experts for the first 2-4 months to grow GLG's network.
  • Once certified, execute time-sensitive projects for GLG's clients within a specialized team focused on the Life Sciences industry.
  • Leverage GLG's network to match council members with clients based on client needs.
  • Interact daily with GLG experts over the phone to qualify profiles for exact client project fits.
  • Maintain accountability and responsibility for client projects and the overall client experience.
  • Enhance your knowledge of clients by building strong relationships.
  • Towards the end of tenure, work with the Business Development/Sales team to discuss content ideas and map out users to grow revenue and ensure retention of existing accounts.
  • Towards the end of tenure, collaborate with GLG's Events, Strategic Projects, and Survey teams to pitch and execute a wide range of products.
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings.

Requirements

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize activities effectively with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrable client services skills with owned relationships.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen.
  • Strong desire to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Master's degree or above in Chemistry, Biology, Medicine, or other Life Sciences-related studies.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a client service-focused position post-graduation.
  • Full business proficiency in English; additional European languages are desirable but not essential.

Career Progression

Senior Client Services Associates typically progress to Client Solutions Manager roles after 12-24 months, managing their own book of business, client relationships, and increasing management responsibility of other/junior team members.
