About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Lhr Américas. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the screening, planning, and execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed due diligence on target companies, evaluating their financial performance and commercial potential.
  • Perform valuation of target companies using various methods, including financial analysis and commercial negotiation.
  • Develop and negotiate definitive agreements, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Manage the overall stakeholder management, including working with internal organizations, consultants, and potential partners.
  • Assemble initial offerings to potential investors and lead investor selection activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance from a recognized international program.
  • 10-15 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years of experience in M&A transaction execution.
  • Strong M&A background, extensive experience in financial valuation and modeling, due diligence, commercial negotiations, and transaction structuring.

Industry Expertise

Adequate understanding of financial analysis of companies and valuation methodologies; commercial principals of a transaction; different types of transactions.
