Strategic Steel Sector Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in the steel sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the industry, including market trends and drivers.
About the RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing the market to identify opportunities and promoting engineering and construction services for clients in the steel sector. This will involve working with clients to understand their needs and developing value propositions that meet those needs. You will also engage with key licensors, OEMs, and potential partners to build relationships and position TR as a leader in the sector.
Main Responsibilities- Analyze the market to identify opportunities and promote engineering and construction services for clients in the steel sector
- Develop TR's value proposition in the sector and engage with clients to understand their needs
- Maintain corporate relationships with key clients and seek out potential partners that complement TR's capabilities
- Establish TR's positioning and define the strategy for the bidding process, coordinating with other BDMs who provide complementary value
- Report all commercial activities, from opportunity identification to contracting, through Salesforce
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the steel industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of the steel industry, including market drivers, trends, and players
- Strong commercial acumen, communication, and negotiation skills
- A deep commercial network within the steel industry
- Highly strategic and analytical thinking
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university in industrial or mechanical engineering or chemistry
- Frequent travel opportunities to Europe, North America, and the Middle East
- The opportunity to work with a leading international engineering and construction company
- A competitive salary: €120,000 - €180,000 per year, depending on experience
