Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Agency Risk Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As an Agency Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the performance of allocated third-party staffing agencies across Spain, ensuring they meet contractual metrics and deliver effective vendor-supplied services.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the relationship with allocated third-party staffing agencies to monitor performance and hold them accountable for delivery against pre-agreed contractual metrics.
- Partner with staffing agencies to remove blockers that impact agency performance, using functional expertise to support their growth.
- Collaborate with the Agency Risk team and OpsPXT partners to address repeated agency underperformance or escalations, in partnership with the Business Management team.
- Conduct in-depth formal reviews and audits with staffing agencies to inspect readiness for event days, peak, and launch hiring, and monitor agency completion of required actions in a timely manner.
- Lead and contribute to cross-business line and Country proposals for tactical initiatives that improve temporary labor hiring outcomes, considering both business and third-party staffing agency considerations.
- Represent staffing agency requirements and considerations in cross-functional strategic programs at territory and/or country level, including technology, product, policy, or process changes.
- Support cross-functional transformation programs to define territory-level strategies regarding third-party staffing agency usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Experience in volume staffing, capacity planning, operations, or an associated function.
- Vendor management experience across large geographical regions.
- Highly numerate, with strong analytical/Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience partnering with senior, cross-functional stakeholders to determine goals, inform decisions, and design long-term solutions.
- Experience managing a commercial multi-site master vendor contingency agency or Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) model.
- Able to deliver independently and take the lead on tactical and strategic initiatives.
- Strong business acumen with good judgment, able to evaluate and make trade-offs between short-term and long-term needs.
- Handle complex problems/efforts, decisions, and escalations.
- Skilled mediator, able to balance conflicting priorities and find a path forward in difficult situations.
- Knowledge and understanding of internal and external metrics, drivers, and focus areas for the business and organization.
- Comfortable using data and evidence to convey ideas and recommendations on complex topics that scale across regions.
- Adaptable and flexible to respond to changing business needs while maintaining velocity.
- Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
- Comfortable with high-volume workload.
