Careers that Change Lives The Surgical Innovations (SI) Division is comprised of 3 Business Units - Advanced Surgical Technologies (AST), Operating Room Essentials (ORE), and Hernia Care. Responsibilities- Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within the assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals.
- Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
- Promote and establish education on the company's products and/or services.
- Conduct market research, including customers and competitors' activities.
- Implement market development plans, strategies, and changes as needed.
- Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
- Degree in Life-Science, Engineering, or other relevant degree.
- At least 2 years selling experience in the medical device industry or High-Tech environment.
- At least 2 years' experience in the Surgical field.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Computer literacy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with high degree of organization-prioritization skill.
- Ability to work within a highly motivated team as well as autonomously, with a minimum of supervision.
- Strong negotiation skills & ability to close deals with customers.
- Full clean driver license and availability to travel.
