Global Sales and Operations Planning Lead

At Puig, we are seeking a highly skilled Global Sales and Operations Planning Lead to join our Supply Chain team. This is a permanent position that will play a key role in driving our business forward.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Global Sales and Operations Planning process for a cosmetic brand. This will involve coordinating launches and promotional items global forecasting, leading regular goods sales forecast, detecting main deviations in the sales forecast vs the budget, and providing inputs for the Strategic Sales and Operation Planning Process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Global Sales and Operations Meeting with Global Brands, Global Finance, and Global Supply Planning, providing data regarding service level, forecast accuracy, sales forecast vs budget, and stock management data.
- Lead the forecasting process and control the deviations by brand.
- Generate the forecast for Rest of the World according to the best base forecast and by adding the marketing intelligence.
- Challenge the global forecast by detecting big deviations vs last month or vs budget, working closely to understand and/or closing gaps with the Local Demand Planning community.
- Challenge markets in order to ensure a proper global sizing and phasing of launches and promotional goods by benchmarking with the brand expectations.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as Demand Planner or minimum 5 years of experience in other Supply Chain areas.
- Experience in the cosmetic industry is very valuable.
- Graduate in Engineering, Administration, or similar, Master in Supply Chain is a plus.
- Fluent English and Spanish are required.
