Scopely is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to join our Global Publishing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships and negotiations with top IP partners, new distribution platforms, and vendors in the gaming industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a global business development strategy that aligns with Scopely's overall distribution strategy and principles.
- Source and negotiate large complex partnerships that drive audience and revenue growth for Scopely's portfolio of games.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the needs of the business are being met in a timely manner.
- Travel domestically and internationally to build relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Business Development experience within the digital entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of creating and executing global business development strategies.
- Ability to identify and negotiate large-scale commercial agreements.
- Gaming experience preferred, particularly in free-to-play games.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience in Keynote, PowerPoint, or Google Slides.
