Iberian Development Director Opportunity:

Staycity Group is expanding its operations in Spain and Portugal and seeks a seasoned professional to lead our development efforts in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the implementation of the strategic business plan to grow the company's presence in key markets.
  • Evaluate growth opportunities for fixed and variable lease contracts.
  • Compile and update target cities for development and determine an achievable pace of development.
  • Maintain a high profile within the industry by attending relevant events.
  • Negotiate deal terms with owners and agree upon Heads of Terms or Letter of Intent.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification as a minimum.
  • Five years' experience in real estate and hospitality.
  • Expertise in real estate finance, development, and hospitality sector knowledge.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and hotel leases.
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and ability to manage projects independently.
  • A successful track record of development deals within the hospitality industry.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.

Salary and Benefits:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a company car and annual bonus (25-45%). The position requires a home-based setup close to an international airport.
