Service Sales Manager for Grid Technologies

Siemens Energy is seeking a highly skilled Service Sales Manager to join our Grid Technologies team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing the opportunity pipeline and orders in new and existing markets of Grid Technologies, with a focus on the Service Business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute market strategy and targets in collaboration with the Execution Unit head.
- Build and maintain key customer relationships with main players in the solar/wind farm development, IPP, Industrial, and EPC sectors.
- Participate in fairs and associations to enlarge market share and create opportunities.
- Support the Execution Unit head in defining market strategy and targets.
- Perform price and market analysis for competitors.
- Negotiate prices with customers.
- Assist in system configuration and discussions with the tendering and execution teams in Service.
- Ensure that the Sales and Tendering processes are implemented in line with Siemens Energy processes and in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Take ownership of the whole sales process for project opportunities from Lead Management through to Project Handover.
- Make necessary coordination with other involved parties to provide technically accurate and commercially/financially compliant proposals.
- Enable the level of escalation appropriate to solve critical aspects.
- Initiate continuous development towards deeper technical knowledge in the allocated portfolio and extend expertise towards more complex business.
- Define Bid/Win Strategy and develop technical solutions to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical discipline.
- Specific knowledge and 5 years experience with Substation business will be a preferential expertise.
- Project management experience will be an advantage.
- General knowledge of HV portfolio.
- Experience in Service Business.
- Available for frequent business trips on a national level, and sometimes also international.
- Excellent/mother-tongue Spanish language mandatory.
- Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- High level of comprehension, strong analytical and structuring skills, strategic thinking, assertiveness, curiosity, and initiative.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- High skills for collaborative work among diverse teams and different countries, ability to create a good team environment and be a key part to motivate it towards common and individual objectives.
