Job Summary: We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated individual to join our Front of House team as a trainee. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in customer service, hospitality management, and conflict resolution while being part of a forward-thinking organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Guest Welcome: Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome experience that sets the tone for an unforgettable stay.
  • VIP Recognition: Maintain and share relevant information about suite guests for the VIP recognition program, ensuring personalized attention and tailored services.
  • Guest History Management: Input and update guest information in the PMS, guaranteeing accurate guest history for future stays and seamless engagement.
  • Complaint Handling: Address guest complaints and suggestions promptly, logging them for follow-up until resolution, demonstrating a commitment to resolving issues efficiently.
  • Anticipating Needs: Identify service trends and gaps to enhance the overall guest experience, showcasing proactive thinking and a dedication to excellence.
  • Pre-Arrival Familiarization: Review guest profiles and histories before arrival to ensure seamless engagement, underscoring attention to detail and a focus on personalized service.
  • Department Coordination: Notify relevant departments about guest arrivals and preferences, fostering effective collaboration and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
  • Transfer Assistance: Coordinate guest transfers to and from the hotel and ensure readiness of welcome amenities, highlighting organizational skills and a commitment to convenience.
  • VIP Engagement: Meet with guests listed in the VIP report to assess their experience and satisfaction, demonstrating a genuine interest in guest feedback and a desire to exceed expectations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate guest requirements across departments for optimal satisfaction, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to collaborate.
  • Upselling and Revenue Generation: Identify opportunities for upselling rooms, late checkouts, and in-resort activities to drive revenue, highlighting entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to business growth.
  • Administrative Efficiency: Prepare and submit operational reports on time, ensuring effective departmental administration and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
  • Training Participation: Attend meetings and training sessions as required, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and company guidelines, and assist in organizing team involvement, promoting a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in customer service roles, such as receptionist or concierge, is beneficial. You should also be familiar with luxury hotel standards and guest service expectations, having a passion for excellence and an intuitive sense of product and service quality.

Benefits: As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary, ranging from €25,000 to €35,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will have access to shared accommodation, uniform, laundry facilities, two days off per week during training, internship allowance, and the opportunity to participate in our Mission Wellness Program, which includes various activities to discover Six Senses values, mission, and vision, as well as the beautiful island of Ibiza.

Language: English is the primary language spoken at Six Senses Ibiza, and we require excellent command of written and spoken English. Knowledge of the local language and customs is desirable.
