About this role

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) for Finished Vehicles at GLOVIS Europe GmbH is responsible for managing and developing our logistics department in Spain. This role includes overseeing key customer contracts, procurement, team management, and fostering growth with new and existing clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Manage transport contracts with HMES & KES to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Procurement: Oversee Spanish tender processes, vendor selection, and lead the 2025 Spanish Tender for HMES and KES.
  • Development & Sales: Expand third-party customer relations in Spain, work on Spanish tender proposals, establish EDI connections, and develop Lobster TMS.
  • Team Management: Lead the Spanish team in Tarragona to meet department objectives.
  • Support & Collaboration: Support requests from our European HQ and maintain effective internal communication.

Your profile

  • Education: For this role, a Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Logistics, or a related field. A Master's degree in these areas would be considered an advantage.
  • Language Skills: Native-level Spanish (C2), strong English proficiency (C1 level preferred).
  • Experience: At least 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in logistics, supply chain, or key account management.
  • Additional Requirements: A transport license is preferred and willingness to travel is required.
