Senior Manager, Business Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Business Development to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of experts in contact with regional commercial teams to answer and guide specific segment clients' requests.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of experts in contact with regional commercial teams to answer and guide specific segment clients' requests, such as RFQs and RFIs.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Global Comparator knowledge, providing advisory support on comparator sourcing and supply chain, with timely and accurate information related to the project.
- Work closely with the commercial team to build positive relationships and gain overall customer satisfaction.
- Supervise, communicate, and analyze opportunities for wins and losses, identifying and recommending solutions and actions to address client loss scenarios.
- Champion the sourcing solution/strategy in collaboration with the comparator sourcing team and coordinate the response from the comparator client service team to customers, including the issuance of proposals.
- Foster clear communication of multi-site/region projects and among different business lines to build full value for our customers.
- Support sourcing or logistics for the execution of clients' projects as needed.
- Mentor and develop the team of customer-facing experts.
- Manage Program Managers' accountability on their accounts/segments to enable regional business growth.
- Contribute to the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of employees.
- Present at trade shows/exhibitions, workshops, and seminars, participating in sales and marketing activities such as customer and/or study kickoffs/QBRs, teleconferences, customer visits, and white papers.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis reporting for the region on clients' pipelines.
