About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Development Manager to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for building and expanding our portfolio of local hotel partners in the Spain and Portugal market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Hotel Partnerships: Identify and develop strategic partnerships with local hotels to increase our market share and revenue.
  2. Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to understand the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for growth.
  3. Business Development: Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.
  4. Communication: Communicate effectively with hotel partners, internal stakeholders, and other external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
  5. Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on market trends, partner performance, and business development progress.
Requirements
  1. Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish, with Catalan and/or Portuguese being a plus.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the travel industry, with a focus on business development, hotel partnerships, or a related field.
  3. Skills: Strong revenue management skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  4. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.
