PSS Manager Job Description

This role is with VF Corporation, a member of the myGwork community, which supports the LGBTQ+ business community.

Timberland is seeking an exceptional PSS Manager to join our team in Barcelona, Spain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the central operational elements of New and Existing Partnership Stores in Spain and Portugal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and communicating operational concepts and procedures.
  • Meeting with other Retail departments to ensure seamless integration of processes and sharing of best practices.
  • Building store P&L from scratch and managing store budget preparation.
  • Assisting in compiling the market strategy for PSS development and supporting country teams in evaluating and recruiting new Partners.
  • Liaising with buying groups and mall operators to educate on our requirements for new locations.
  • Working with Construction, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing Department to ensure new store openings are delivered.
  • Coordinating VF approval process and contract issuing with Legal Department.
  • Providing forecasts, budgets, and estimates for PSS stakeholders.
  • Managing the Partners Store Communication process with stakeholders.
  • Developing Timberland Store product assortments for various store types on a seasonal basis.
  • Ensuring execution through managing local Partnership Stores Coordinators and Partnership responsible teams.
  • Distributing retail training in product knowledge, selling concepts, etc.
  • Analyzing and utilizing data to improve Partnership Stores' performance and KPIs.

This role requires previous experience managing franchising partners in Spain and Portugal, preferably in Footwear.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
