About the Role

At Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U., we are committed to advancing a sustainable energy future for all. As an EPC Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic alignment with key EPCs across Europe and managing their international business opportunities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement account strategies for the Grid Automation business with nominated accounts to position Hitachi Energy as the partner of choice and drive profitable growth.
  • Align with business goals and feed into the overall account strategy for Hitachi Energy.
  • Create added value for customers and Hitachi Energy by ensuring a coordinated sales proposition across business units.
  • Maintain detailed records of opportunities for nominated accounts and visibility of business levels in the current and future years.
  • Set and deliver sales targets for accounts and support local sales teams to secure local business.
  • Stay up-to-date with growth plans, target markets, and ambitions for each account and develop and implement the account plan to grow existing markets.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of the customer's business strategy, purchasing behavior, organization, decision-makers, and business drivers.

Your Background

  • At least 5+ years' experience selling automation solutions to EPC contractors.
  • Experience in managing international sales opportunities for engineered solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of markets for automation solutions for electrical networks and grid edge solutions.
  • Experience in coordinating international bid teams to develop innovative tenders.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
  • Availability for international travel to visit customers (max. 30%).
