About the Role

This position is responsible for satisfying customer requirements and achieving company budget goals through the development of specific activities for product lines or application segments.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Assess customer requirements and evaluate the feasibility of technical solutions.
  2. Support sales engineers in customer calls for quotations of complex systems or when additional technical information is required.
  3. Develop technical proposals through system layout engineering or cost estimating of necessary components or modules.
  4. Obtain quotations from external suppliers and evaluate estimates.
  5. Provide technical support to other company departments for the segment/product lines under one's responsibility.
  6. Collaborate with sales engineers for problems related to assembly or customer complaints.
  7. Develop the market and sales of new product lines/segments under one's responsibility, acting as a local interface with central functions.
  8. Ensure the testing of products and dosing to guarantee correct solutions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree and a minimum of 3 years' experience in an engineering function.
  • Product knowledge and technical drawing skills.
  • Project management and customer awareness.
  • Negotiation skills and cost estimate expertise.
  • Proficiency in AutoDesk CAD Tools and 2D/3D design.
