About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for on-premise and cloud applications, supporting user communities in Asian or EU zones. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading system administration tasks, including application administration and system lifecycle documentations.
  • Providing technical leadership in application roadmap development, collaborating closely with system owners.
  • Participating in build, upgrade, and/or migration projects to ensure seamless system operations.
  • Ensuring systems are up-to-date by executing technical upgrades, applying patches, bug-fixes, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Managing security tasks, such as user account reviews, technical account reviews, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Conducting activities in a highly regulated and compliant environment, adhering to SOPs.
  • Analyzing business needs, prioritizing tasks, developing solutions, and conducting data processes to improve IT system operations.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience as an application and/or system support specialist (System Engineer) or 6+ years of experience as an application owner and/or system administrator.
  • System Administration (Windows, Unix, Linux) expertise.
  • Cloud administration (Azure, AWS) skills.
  • Database administration knowledge.
  • Information protection and security expertise.
  • Networking skills.
